Bamboo Towel
You can take a small test at home to verify the difference between cotton towel and bamboo fiber towel. Put a piece of cotton towel and a piece of web bamboo fiber in two respective plastic bags and place them under the environment of about 30 centigrade in a few days. I am sure the wet cotton towel will be smelly, sticky and even turn black; however the bamboo fiber towel is no smell and as fresh as new when you open the bags. Same number of bacteria was observed under the microscope. Our National Textile Inspection Authority has confirmed that: the mortality rate of bacteria in the bamboo fiber is more than 73 percent, which is the other textile fibers do not have.
The surface of cross-section of bamboo fiber is filled with great number of large and small pores which are able to absorb and evaporate a large number of water in an instant. The water-absorbent function of bamboo fiber is three times than that of cotton. Research revealed that the hygroscopicity, permeability and moisture release function of bamboo fiber ranks at the first in all textile fibers.
As a result of natural anti-bacterial function, bamboo fiber products do not contain any synthetic antimicrobial agent, therefore they will not cause skin allergy.
